Job Description
Our Front End team is currently conceptualizing and building the most exciting, usable, and advanced eCommerce admin UI in the market. We are looking for experienced colleagues with passion for technologies used by big players on an enterprise-level application. Even more important than your technical qualification: You want to join (and learn from) a skilled, agile team that believes in having fun, giving back to the community, and collaborating in an open, supportive environment!

About your new role
  • Work on a modular and scalable web application written in modern JavaScript libraries
  • Conceptualise and develop features from start to finish in collaboration with designers and product owners
  • Bring forth a design system as well as the process to work with it
  • Analyse and discuss requirements for trade-off technical approaches and be part of an agile team responsible for its complete development process
  • Maintain and help developing our Open Source UI components library, including documentation
  • Perform Unit tests with Jest and integration tests with Cypress

Skills & Requirements

  • At least 3 (ideally more) years of experience with large scale web applications 
  • Solid understanding of Web technologies like Javascript (ES6), React, DOM APIs
  • Demonstrate expertise of HTML and CSS development including layout, specificity, browser compatibility, animation, and accessibility
  • Experience or knowledge of working with a Design System and can push these concepts forward
  • Know-hows of designing scalable and maintainable component APIs
  • Understand the critical rendering path and how to optimise web browser performance
  • Strive for clean code and have high standards for quality assurance such as code review, unit testing, code linting
  • Understand design and development processes and are able to align communication across them
  • Be able to argue about implementing meaningful components and features, from developer, designer and user perspective
  • Love to share and have the aspiration to constantly improve yourself and learn new technologies and concepts
  • Fluent English to work in an international, cross-functional team
